Time has flown by so quickly! Hailey is 18 months old now and becoming more of a toddler every day. When I look at her now, I no longer see a baby, I see a little girl with her own distinct personality, wants and desires. She brings so much joy into our lives! We love our Hai Hai! Here are some facts about Hailey at 18 months:
- Weighs 20.6 lbs, 4%
- Is 32 3/4 inches tall, 79%
-Loves her "babies"! She changes their diapers, feeds them, gives them baths, swaddles them and rocks them. She even pushes them for walks in their stroller.
-She loves to have her fingernails and toenails painted! She asks Chelsie, my sister, to paint them everytime she sees her:) Such a girl!
- Her favorite movies are Tangled, Enchanted and Lion King.
-She loves anything Princess! Grandpa, Grandma and Chelsie got her a Princess suitcase for Easter that lights up and she has to pack and unpack it everyday.
- She got a Princess Potty Chair for Easter and loves to sit on it and pretend to use it! I think she is well on her way to potty training herself!
-Loves to be outside! Everyday the first thing she does when she wakes up is goes to the window, points outside and asks "Please"! She can go down the slide all by herself and still loves to swing at the park. Going on walks are a little more difficult now because she doesn't want to be in the stroller, she wants to help push the stroller!
- Loves animals. She can make a lot of the animal sounds and imitates the ones she doesn' t know yet. We went to Baby Animal Days in Wellsville and she loved it! She even held a baby duck and got in the pig pen to pet a baby pig!
- Is so awesome at remembering to say Please and Thank you. She gets pretty much anything she wants because she looks up at us, bats her eyelashes and says "Please!". Who could deny that?!
- Loves to sing. She sings to us, to herself, to her "babies" and of course with the Princesses on her favorite shows!
- Loves to dress-up! Especially with shoes and jewelry! Doesn't matter if it's her clothes, my clothes or even her dad's, she just loves to dress-up!
- Loves to be a helper! She will wipe down anything you ask her to, helps vacuum, mop and dust. She always helps clean up her toys at night and even helps with the laundry!
- Has the kindest heart. She is the most loving, kind, happy little girl I have ever met! We are so lucky to have her in our lives! We love our Hailey!
Hailey is so good at reminding us when it's time for prayers. She folds her arms, closes her eyes and say please!
